Three savings models. One trusted ledger.

Every Njanghi group runs on one of three time-tested community finance models — digitised, automated, and fully visible to every member.

Model 01 — Rotation

ROSCA: the Rotating Pot

A Rotating Savings and Credit Association is the classic Njanghi: every member contributes the same fixed amount on the same schedule — weekly or monthly — and the entire pooled contribution ("the pot") is handed to one member each cycle, rotating until every member has received their turn.

  • Fixed contribution amount, fixed schedule — no surprises
  • Njanghi auto-generates a fair rotation order and reminders
  • Best for: lump-sum goals — stock for a business, school fees, appliances

Model 02 — Accumulation

ASCA: the Group Bank

An Accumulating Savings and Credit Association pools contributions without distributing the full amount immediately. Instead, the group becomes its own informal bank — members can borrow from the accumulated fund, repay with interest, and at the end of the annual cycle, interest is shared out or reinvested.

  • Members can request a loan from the pooled fund, with group-set terms
  • Interest tracked automatically and shown to every member in real time
  • At cycle-end: distribute profit, or roll it into next year's fund
  • Best for: groups wanting ongoing access to credit, not just a lump sum
Model 03 — Protection

Goal & Care Cover

Built for life's milestones and emergencies — burial societies, wedding clubs, illness support. Members pay a regular premium into a shared fund. When a qualifying event happens to a member's family, the group releases a cash payout and coordinates practical support: food, tents, transport, and logistics, all visible in the group feed.

  • Set your premium and your covered events (burial, wedding, illness, etc.)
  • When a claim is raised, members are notified and can contribute extra
  • Logistics checklist: who's bringing tents, food, transport — coordinated in-app
  • Best for: families and communities formalising mutual-aid traditions
